Safari & Wildlife Tours

The best time for a Tanzania safari depends on what you want to see:

  • June–October (Dry season): Best for wildlife viewing & the Great Migration in Serengeti.
  • January–March: Calving season in the Serengeti (excellent for predator action).
  • April–May: Fewer tourists & lush landscapes (green season safaris).

Top safari destinations include:

  • Serengeti National Park – Best for the Great Migration & Big Five safaris.
  • Ngorongoro Crater – High wildlife density, ideal for a day safari.
  • Tarangire National Park – Known for large elephant herds.
  • Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park) – Off-the-beaten-path, with boat safaris & walking tours.

A 3-5 day safari is great for a quick adventure, while 7-10 days allows for a more immersive experience, including Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and other parks.
