The best time for safaris in Tanzania largely depends on what you want to experience. However, the general peak season for safaris is during the dry season, which runs from June to October. Tanzania’s national parks are divided into different circuits based on their location. The main circuits are the Northern Circuit, Southern Circuit, Western Circuit, and Coastal Circuit.
Northern Circuit
